Beginning May 5, all eligible SDSU graduates can log into their Tassel account and retrieve their Stage Pass.

Your Stage Pass will contain a unique QR code that will be scanned as you cross the stage to announce your name and display your details on the big screen as you cross the stage.

Below are two options for graduates to save and bring their Stage Pass to their ceremony:

1) Download Your Stage Pass To Your Mobile Wallet

  • Download your Stage Pass to your Apple/Google Wallet prior to arriving to campus
  • Due to the number of guests on campus, Wi-Fi can be slower than normal so it is recommended to download your pass before arriving at the ceremony.
  • Screenshots of Stage Passes are not recommended.
  • Ensure the brightness is turned all the way up on your mobile device.
  • Charge your mobile devices FULLY before the ceremony.
  • Cracked device screens make it difficult to scan the QR code on a Stage Pass. Please consider PRINTING your Stage Pass if you have a cracked screen on your mobile device.

2) Print Your Stage Pass

  • SAVE AND PRINT your Stage Pass prior to coming to campus, without altering the size.
  • Do NOT enlarge or shrink your printed Stage Pass.
  • Ensure there are NO creases or cracks going through the QR Code on your printed Stage Pass.
  • Bring this print out with you to the ceremony!
